About Midtherm
Since 1968, Midtherm has designed and manufactured high-quality flue and chimney systems from its base in Dudley, at the heart of the Black Country.
Today, we supply an extensive range of residential and commercial flue systems. Our products support wood-burning stoves, domestic heating appliances, commercial boiler installations and a wide variety of specialist applications.
We combine established manufacturing knowledge with modern production methods, technical expertise and an independently certified ISO 9001 quality management system.
Our Heritage
Ray Andrews founded Midtherm in 1968 as a small sheet-metal workshop serving heating and ventilation contractors.
During the early 1970s, the company invested in stainless steel and began manufacturing flue products for commercial installations. A commitment to quality craftsmanship, dependable service and responsive lead times soon established Midtherm as a trusted name within the industry.
In the 1980s, Midtherm expanded into residential flue systems. The launch of the HT-S twin-wall system marked an important stage in that development. Today, HT-S remains a key part of our residential range and carries a 20-year warranty.
Midtherm now supports projects across the residential, commercial and industrial heating sectors. Our range combines proven performance with practical technical support and decades of specialist flue-system knowledge.
A New Chapter 2025 and Beyond
In 2025, Midtherm became part of the Expo Inox Group, beginning an important new chapter in the company’s development.
The partnership brings together Midtherm’s British manufacturing heritage and long-standing flue expertise with the international experience of one of Europe’s growing chimney and exhaust-system groups.
This strengthened position will support continued investment, product development and innovation while helping Midtherm serve residential and commercial customers across the UK and international markets.
